A Street Art gallery in the streets of Rome
In 2015 Rome was the place selected by memorieurbane.it which is one of the more well-known Street Art festival in the world. In witness of the Eternal City participation in this Street festival Art remained the wonderful murals on some Roman roads. One of these works is visible in Tor Marancia street, 63. Tor Marancia is a district of Rome in the Ardeatino area. The area takes its name from a tower no longer exists today, the only one present tower in the area is the Torre delle Vigne.
Another work to be seen realized always on the occasion of the Street Art Festival is visible on the steps of Fiamignano Street, near the Nature Reserve of Insugherata. The work Painted on the steps of Via Fiamignano represents different faces of Ingrid Bergman.
Instead on the steps of Corso Francia a portrait of Michèle Mercier is visible realized by David Vecchiato aka "Diavù" this portrait is one of the greatest exponents in the Street Art scene of Rome.
In Via Ugo Bassi a stone's throw from Trastevere Station there is a work that represents Elena Sofia Ricci.
The well-known artist from Street Art Blue has created a mural on the facade of the former barracks of the Air Force of Rome, located in Via del Porto Fluviale. To find other work see also the conducted application "streetart rome".
